Password protection and encrypted data transfer for your account
To protect your account against unauthorised access from outside, authentication of the user name and the password is performed when logging in. After logging-in the data is transferred exclusively as SSL encrypted information to avoid unauthorised access during the transfer of data between your PC and the server.
Better control – more security during the conference call meetings
Securely navigate the conference process. As moderator you can control the conference call via web browser by using the Conference Control Panel (CCP) The CCP keeps you informed of the current status of each participant who has dialled in. You may also change this status. You can see who has registered for the conference and who is currently connected. In addition, you may lock or end the conference.
Conference call control by means of the telephone keypad.
To ensure conference security without the web browser you may also use the telephone keypad. The conference can be locked or unlocked and it is possible to hear the number of callers who are on the conference.
After the conference call – Overview of participants and control of costs
After the conference call you have access to the conference details in your account. This includes a list of all participants with the dial-in time, the name, the telephone number and the connection costs. Alternatively you could opt for a full invoice itemisation in your account/invoice itemisation and download the data onto your PC.
Optional: Two-level access protection for your Dial-In-/Anytime-Conference
The new two-level access protection offers even more security for your Dial-In-/Anytime Conferences. An optional 4-digit PIN can be created in addition to the 6-digit PIN.
Limited number of participants for secure conference calls
When booking a conference you can limit the number of participants. If you have set the maximum number of participants, all new participants, who try to dial-in to the conference, will not be accepted. (The moderator can deactivate this setting and allow new participants to join the conference)
Providing your participants with an overview of the conference
When booking a conference you can select the Roll Call option in order to provide your participants with an overview of members of the telephone conference. The system will then ask the participants to tell their names when they join the conference. The name of the participant will be announced when he or she joins or leaves the conference.
