Features of online collaboration

Joint use of any Windows application

Online collaboration allows you to jointly use any Windows application in addition to telephone conferences. The application simply has to be processed not installed on the PC used for online collaboration.

Start immediately without installing any software

There is no need to install software for online collaboration. Start the application after download to your PC and follow the instructions shown in your applications window. After the online collaboration session your PC will be reset to its original settings. The application will be saved in the random access memory.

View direction change

At the beginning of the online collaboration session the selected applications will be displayed on the conference initiator’s screen. If a participant is asked to present his or her screen, he or she can either accept or deny the request. Alternating screens between conference participants is always possible provided that they agree.

Remote control allows participants to jointly edit applications

Firstly, the screen view is transmitted to all participants. If the presenter allows remote control by pushing a button, his or her PC can be remote-controlled. This means that all participants can jointly edit a document during the web conference. The presenter can withdraw the remote control permission at any time by clicking the mouse or pressing a key.

The host and all conference members can define which applications they want to share. While you are jointly editing a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on your PC, for instance, your e-mail program will not be visible on the desktop of the other guests. Naturally, blanked out applications cannot be remote-controlled.
